Bazaar and old centre
Bahariye, the bazaar, one-way streets, pedestrians. Hard to stop at the door. Street, number and, if you can, the approach help us a great deal.
Acıbadem – Koşuyolu
An easy site gate and a tight apartment street can sit in the same neighbourhood. Block and gate, especially on new projects, take us to the right place.
The Fikirtepe belt
Old street names and new towers get mixed. Project name, block or tower and which entrance is usually enough.
Göztepe – Erenköy
E-5, Minibüs Yolu and a side street are not the same “Göztepe”. If you say which side, we build the tour properly.
Bağdat and the shore
Long stops on the avenue are hard. A parallel street, a rear door, a building number — we are grateful for those.

Kozyatağı – Bostancı
Tower and office gates; in Bostancı, shore or E-5. Clearing both up saves time.
The centre, with Caferağa, Osmanağa and Rasimpaşa, is the busiest part. The bazaar and Bahariye fill with people and cars; the municipality treats Osmanağa and Caferağa as their own market zone. Many streets are one-way, doors sit close together, and stopping cleanly in front is not always possible. If you can add which street we should approach from, the driver is not left guessing.
The bazaar, Hasanpaşa, Acıbadem–Koşuyolu
Rasimpaşa and Hasanpaşa sit a little inland, with a strong stock of older buildings. Hasanpaşa is in the conversation about renewal; the metropolitan municipality has treated Acıbadem, Koşuyolu and Hasanpaşa as a special area for that. On small streets, “turn off this main road” helps more than the name on the map. If you are in an older building, the floor and whether there is a lift help us plan how to bring the carpet down.
Acıbadem is a large neighbourhood, well served by minibuses, metrobus and metro. Koşuyolu is quieter, greener, a mix of villas and apartments. In the same neighbourhood one stop can be an easy site gate and the next a tight street with nowhere to park. At Acıbadem Konakları, Excellence Koşuyolu, Seven Four Life, the site name alone may not be enough; block, gate and a pin if you can will take us to the right door.
Fikirtepe, Göztepe, Bağdat and the shore
Fikirtepe, Dumlupınar, Eğitim and Merdivenköy have changed the most. Old streets sit next to huge new projects; planning talk around the reserve area is still current in 2026. An old street name is sometimes out of date. Project name, tower or block, which gate — main or car park — keeps us off the wrong tower. KentPlus, 1071 Kadıköy, Alya Life, Fortis Sinanlı, Optimist, Pırlanta Göztepe are regular stops on this belt.
Göztepe, Merdivenköy and Erenköy mix older large flats with new residences. Nidakule Göztepe, Göztepe Park, Four Winds, Erenköy Koru… “Göztepe” does not say whether you are on the E-5, Minibüs Yolu or a side street. Parking in old buildings, inner directions in big residences — both are common here.
Caddebostan, Suadiye and Erenköy along Bağdat Street are busy. Suadiye runs from Şemsettin Günaltay down to the sea. Stopping long in front of a building that faces the avenue is hard; a parallel street or a rear entrance, if you have one, helps everyone. Caddebostan gets even busier in summer; the shore, Bağdat and the side streets run at different speeds. A building number and which street to approach from is much more useful than “I’m on Bağdat Street”.
Fenerbahçe, Kozyatağı, Bostancı
Fenerbahçe, Kalamış, Feneryolu and Zühtüpaşa sit near the shore and the parks — quieter housing mixed with well-known sites. Dalyan Konakları, Tibaş Dalyan, Fenerbahçe Koru, Kalamış Koru, Kalamış Park, Marina Palas. It is worth asking about a short stop and parking near the water. If security and the car-park gate are on different streets, we are grateful if you say so. A pin helps here too.
Kozyatağı, Sahrayıcedit and 19 Mayıs lean on Ataşehir; towers, offices and older blocks sit together. Nidakule Kozyatağı, Baytur Kozyatağı on Buket Street… On a large site it is worth talking through vehicle access; parking can be tight.
Bostancı is the eastern end: shore to the D-100, Suadiye and Kozyatağı beside it, Ataşehir to the north, Maltepe to the east. E-5, Minibüs Yolu, the coast road, Marmaray and the ferry all meet here. Strong main roads, still awkward parking on the building streets. The shore fills at weekends and in good weather; the E-5 side is another story. If you say whether it is shore or E-5, we put you on the right tour.
We ask for a little more detail in Kadıköy
Time here is rarely lost in the wrong district. It goes while we look for a place to pull in, or the right block, in the right neighbourhood. That is why we kindly ask for a fuller address than elsewhere.
- In older neighbourhoods: neighbourhood, street and building number. In the bazaar and Bahariye, which street we can drive in on, if you know it, is a real help.
- On sites and residences: neighbourhood, name, block or tower, which gate. A sentence such as “main entrance”, “car-park gate” or “this tower” is enough.
- Please do not assume we can wait at the door. On Bağdat, Bahariye, in the bazaar and along Caddebostan shore, a stop is not always easy. The nearest place the van can wait helps everyone.
- A note to security, especially for a short loading stop, makes the driver’s visit much easier.
- Renewal is still underway in Fikirtepe, Hasanpaşa, Acıbadem and Erenköy, so an old description of the building is sometimes out of date. A pin on a first visit is therefore especially valuable. If the street market is on, a heads-up lets us shift the tour.
Sites and residences we visit often
Not a catalogue — places in Kadıköy where the gate or block, if missing, stretches the job. Even when the name is well known, the tower and the entrance are what we need.
Fikirtepe / Dumlupınar
- KentPlus Kadıköy Large. The block or cluster with the site name takes us to the right gate.
- 1071 Kadıköy Rezidans Tall tower. Which entrance to use helps a great deal.
- Alya Life Residence New Fikirtepe fabric. Tower and security gate together, please.
- Fortis Sinanlı Yeni Kadıköy Large mixed-use. Main gate and car-park gate can be separate.
- Optimist Rezidans Newer building. Project name plus block is enough.
Acıbadem / Koşuyolu
- Acıbadem Konakları A wide estate. Block and gate keep us from looping inside.
- Excellence Koşuyolu Gated, many blocks. The site name alone may not be enough; a pin helps.
- Seven Four Life Acıbadem New housing. We kindly ask for the entrance and block.
Göztepe / Erenköy / Caddebostan
- Nidakule Göztepe Tall and easy to spot. Which gate, please, still matters.
- Göztepe Park Residence By the park. Do not mix the residence door with a stop on the avenue.
- Four Winds Park Residences Large residence. Tower and security together.
- Erenköy Koru Sitesi Wooded, roads inside. A block description helps.
- Ihlamur Terrace Caddebostan side. A parallel street is useful for a stop near Bağdat.
Fenerbahçe / Feneryolu / Kalamış
- Dalyan Konakları Dalyan. If security and the car park are on different streets, we are grateful if you say so.
- Tibaş Vakfı Dalyan Konutları Near the shore. A word to security about a short stop helps.
- Fenerbahçe Koru Sitesi Wide. Block and gate and we do not get lost inside.
- Kalamış Koru Sitesi Around Kalamış. Worth asking about a stop on the shore side.
- Kalamış Park Rezidans Residence. The entrance street is enough.
Kozyatağı / Sahrayıcedit
- Nidakule Kozyatağı Office and housing. Please say which door so we do not mix the residence with the plaza.
- Baytur Kozyatağı Konutları Buket Street. An established site; talking through vehicle access helps when parking is tight.
Bostancı / Suadiye
- Suadiye Sahil Sitesi Shore. Weekends and summer make stopping harder; we may ask for a parallel approach.
- Ersoy Sahil Sitesi Bostancı–Suadiye shore. Shore or inner street, if you say which, the tour is right.
