How does Evax serve Ümraniye?
One of the busier, messier districts on the Anatolian side — homes, workplaces, old streets, new sites. Phone or WhatsApp is enough; we slot the tour around your neighbourhood and that day’s roads. Carpets are not dumped in a shared pool at the factory. They come back to you.
Centre
Old neighbourhood, Alemdağ crowds, tight side streets. The door and a place to pull in matter here.
Tepeüstü – Ihlamurkuyu
Big sites, Şile Road. Lunch and evening on the avenue can slow the last kilometre. Write the block too.
Şerifali – Finanskent
Newer sites. Close to Ataşehir, close to İMES. Security may take you through a second gate.
Dudullu – Parseller
Houses mixed with industry. Without Yukarı / Aşağı and a street name the driver is stuck between two Dudullus.
Hekimbaşı – Topağacı
Hills, old streets. Reaching the door is not always realistic; a corner on the main road is.
The centre — Yamanevler, Atatürk, İnkılap, Tantavi, Armağanevler, Namık Kemal, İstiklal, Elmalıkent — is older and tighter. Alemdağ is busy with shops; turn off and the buildings sit on top of each other, parking is a pain. The van cannot sit long at the door of an old block. “This is the entrance, the van can pull in here” saves everyone.
Yamanevler, Tepeüstü, the big sites
Yamanevler and Atatürk sit on Alemdağ. Yamanevler is also on the M5; a new tower and an old walk-up share the same neighbourhood. If a site has three gates, say which one, and which block or tower.
Tepeüstü, Ihlamurkuyu and Çakmak are wider, the sites bigger. Şile Road is the way in; around the mall in Tepeüstü, getting close can drag. My Town is on the Ihlamurkuyu side, via Gümüşsuyu Street. After the main gate you still need the block. Same at My City, Soyak Yenişehir, Aqua City: “right-hand block after you go in” is the kind of sentence that helps. If it is a first visit the driver may call for a pin — that is normal.
Şerifali, Dudullu, the hilly old streets
Şerifali, Site, Finanskent, Tatlısu are the newer-site side. Şerifali sticks to Ataşehir; İMES metro is a few minutes on foot. Some sites send you in through a back gate, not the main road. “I’m in Şerifali” is how we end up in the wrong place. Write the site, block, street, gate. If the block names look alike, send a pin.
Dudullu is spread out — İMES on one side, houses on the other. Do not just say Dudullu. Yukarı or Aşağı, which street? Sinpaş Gökorman is in Aşağı Dudullu, around Saraybosna Street, lots of blocks inside. Eltes Gold is in Madenler on Şehit Ünal Kalafat Street, a tall tower you can spot from far off. Still say which entrance.
Hekimbaşı, Topağacı, Dumlupınar, Kazım Karabekir: old, hilly, tangled. Parking is miserable; two cars barely pass, we may not reach the door. Name a bit of main road the van can wait on instead of “wait in front”. East of Esenşehir–Yenişehir and Yukarı Dudullu it turns into workplaces — İMES, Modoko. Home or office, and whether there is a loading door, please say so up front.
What actually helps on pickup
In Ümraniye the problem is rarely how far it is. Wrong gate, tight street, market day, Şile Road at the wrong hour — that is where the time goes.
- Neighbourhood, street, site, block, which gate, flat. “I’m at this site” is not enough.
- On a big site say whether it is main security, block B, the car-park gate or the tower. Tell security; ask if they let you stop to load.
- When the driver calls, send a pin. Inner roads on a first visit are as confusing as the names.
- In older neighbourhoods the van may not stop at the door. Point to a place nearby where it can wait.
- Şile Road, Alemdağ, Dudullu, Tepeüstü get busy at certain hours. A street market can close a road — say if it is that day.
Sites we go to a lot
Not a brochure — notes from the van. Şerifali–Tatlısu–Finanskent has so many new sites that writing the block and the gate beats memorising names.
Yamanevler / Ihlamurkuyu / Tepeüstü
- Ağaoğlu My Town Ihlamurkuyu, Gümüşsuyu Street. It is huge inside; after the main gate we need the block or we loop.
- Ağaoğlu My City On Tavukçuyolu. Say the security gate and the block together.
- Soyak Yenişehir Kibele Evleri Around Yenişehir / Ihlamurkuyu. A cluster or block number and we find it.
- Sinpaş Aqua City Another big one. “Right after the gate” helps more than the name on the map.
Madenler
- Ağaoğlu Eltes Gold Residence Şehit Ünal Kalafat Street, tall tower, hard to miss. Still say which door we should use.
Aşağı Dudullu
- Sinpaş Gökorman Saraybosna Street. People mix it up with Yukarı Dudullu. Block and gate, please, from the start.
Şerifali / Tatlısu / Finanskent
- Newer sites Names look alike and there is often a second gate. Site, block, street, door — and whether you are on the İMES side — is enough.
